EM WAS FEATURED AS LADIES, WINE AND DESIGN LONDON’S FEBRUARY GIRL CRUSH IN FEB 2019.
Ladies, Wine & Design is a global non-profit initiative with chapters in 250 cities worldwide.
Ladies Wine & Design was started by Jessica Walsh after this happened and she realized
that sometimes peers can be competitive or unsupportive of one another.
Only a small percentage of creative directors identify as women or non-binary, and LW&D wants to help change this through mentorship circles, portfolio reviews, talks & creative meetups.
So in keeping with the supportive atmosphere they cultivate, LW&D London featured Em as their #GirlCrush in February 2019. Featuring her work and a short profile, you can see the post opposite. Em absolutely supports LW&D London and was honoured to be given a feature spot.
If you’re a female, or non-binary creative in the creative or design industry definitely look to join the Facebook Group and attend some of the brilliant events they host. While it’s a closed group, the Facebook group is a brilliant resource for sharing and seeing job opportunities, troubleshooting problems and networking on a whole.
It’s amazing to be surrounded by all these amazing women who will back your corner when you need it.
