Ads for Good

The Problem:

Advertising is losing trust. People are engaging less and less as they’re bombarded with more and more ads from everywhere.

The Solution:

Good-Loop have created a platform – Ads for Good that help build trust back in, boost engagement and in general makes advertising seem less evil by donating brand money to charity. We have helped with their branding and product development to help boost trust of the brand itself.

The Response:

Good-Loop has grown year on year so far, working with more notable brands as time goes on. The platform has resulted in growth of positive brand engagement and uplift, as well as funnelling over £1,000,000 to great causes and helping real people.

We have been working with Good-Loop since 2017. Most notably we’ve rebranded them as they’ve grown – defining their brand identity and building brand integrity as a modern tech company that balances purpose with profit. We’ve redesigned the logo and accompanying assets, helped to define what the brand stands for: balance. And are working to curate the tone of voice and look and feel across imagery and brand assets and communication.

Alongside the branding we’ve been working on designing the UX/UI and product designs across their digital ad platforms, as well as offering general creative and design support across new products, presentations, pitches, videos and case studies. Some notable campaigns that have been run through the ad product that we have designed with the Good-Loop team, are an anti-bullying campaign for Lynx across Snapchat and a campaign for KitKat supporting Nestle Cocoa Fund projects. We unfortunately can’t share those project here, so we’ve shown an example below of what some of the products looks like with our own branding integrated.

The main consideration for Good-Loop products is that they have to work for both the businesses who are placing ads with them, and for the people watching them – so they’re as attractive as possible for both advertiser and audience, meaning more people are encouraged to engage, want to use the ads to give back, and this in turn increases Good-Loop’s brand recognition and trust.

‘Kireli have helped us to create a powerful and enduring brand identity for Good-Loop. At the beginning of the process they invested time into understanding exactly what we wanted to communicate and helped us to articulate the key values at the heart of our our business. This approach meant that the designs are rooted in our story and ooze our personality. Lots of people can design pretty pictures but Kireli’s real talent is in their ability to translate a concept into a robust visual language.’
